• 2 OFFICERS JOIN FARMINGTON PD

  The department would like to welcome our 2 new officers to the department, Phil Hunter and Sean Owen. Both officers joined the department on June 29th and are currently assigned to Field Training Officers.  They will be attending the 153rd New Hampshire Police Academy in August.

• FIRE & EXPLOSION LEAD TO DISCOVERY OF METH LAB

  A 911 call made shortly after midnight for a report of a shed fire resulted in the discovery of a meth lab at 532 Chestnut Hill Road in Farmington. An investigation and subsequent execution of a search warrant lead to the arrest of Norman Marcotte.

  A Low pressure zone is moving across southern Quebec today with a cold front moving east and southeast through New York State and New England with showers and thunderstorms.

  FRIDAY JUNE 18th @ 7 PM
  See members of the Police Dept. play the Red Sox alumni in a benefit softball game at the 500 Club field on Summer Street. There will be events starting at 5:30 PM for all ages including a dunk tank, speed pitch and softball throw.

• Federal indictments for five in rash of area bank robberies

  Federal indictments have been handed up against five people charged in connection with a spree of four area bank robberies in April.

• SCHOOL BUS REAR ENDED ON CHESTNUT HILL RD

• FARMINGTON BUSINESSES SCORE 100% COMPLIANCE IN UNDERAGE ALCOHOL CHECK

  Scott Roberge of Farmington PD, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission Bureau of Enforcement and Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, recently conducted Alcohol Compliance Checks of liquor licensees.
