Innovative investigative work and DNA technology have lead to the issuance of arrest warrants for 2 people alleged to be involved in a burglary in Farmington on January 31, 2012. The department currently holds arrest warrants for:
RYAN G. FEENEY, AGE 36
LKA: 19 MAIN STREET
MILTON, NH
AND
JACQUELINE D. MEYER, AGE 45
LKA: 48 MAIN STREET
MILTON MILLS, NH
Feeney is being charged with Burglary (Class B Felony) while Meyers is being charged with Receiving Stolen Property (Misdemeanor).
On January 31, 2012, the department’s officers responded to and investigated a burglary on Cross Street. Over the next few months, during the course of the investigation, Feeney and Meyer were identified as possible suspects. A search warrant was conducted at Meyer’s address in Milton where a number of items that were believed to be stolen in burglaries were recovered. One of the items recovered, a lip balm, was identified by the victim as likely belonging to her.
Det. Brian Driscoll asked for and obtained a DNA sample from the burglary victim. The lip balm and the DNA sample were sent to the State Crime Lab for testing. On June 26, 2012, the department received the results that showed the DNA on the lip balm matched the DNA of the victim.
Based upon the investigation and evidence, Det. Driscoll obtained arrest warrants for both Feeney and Meyer.
Feeney is currently incarcerated at the Strafford County House of Corrections on unrelated charges. Meyer is currently being monitored by Community Corrections for unrelated charges. Their arraignment dates will be set at the time of their arrests.
