Isolated strong to severe weather possible this evening.

A Weather Advisory is issued if after review of pertinent weather information it is determined that escalating emergency conditions may be possible.

A few rain showers will be possible later this morning. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible from noon through 6pm. Nothing strong is expected with this activity. 

A line of showers and thunderstorms will be possible from the Lakes Region and points south from 6PM -11PM this evening.  Isolated severe storms will be possible.  The strongest storms will be capable of producing medium amounts of lightning, wind gusts to 50-60 mph, and sizeable hail.  The main risk should be damaging wind gusts, but the impact should be isolated. 

To the north, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible north of the Lakes Region.  Expect low amounts of lightning and wind gusts to 25-35 mph.  A few isolated showers and storms will be possible after 11pm across the region.  These are not expected to be strong.  Rainfall amounts of 1-1.5 inches will be possible across areas south of the Lakes Region.  Most of this should come during the 6-11pm time frame.
