A Weather Advisory is issued if after review of pertinent weather information it is determined that escalating emergency conditions are not likely.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for most of the State today, beginning at noon and continuing through 6 PM tomorrow evening. Snow will start from the Southwest and move Northeast in the afternoon and should stay all snow throughout the event, with a chance of a brief mixing along the MA. & NH border as warn air tries to move into the region early tomorrow morning.

Snowfall amount range from 3-6″ in the North Country to an average of 4-8″ throughout the rest of the State. Winds are forecasted to stay well below hazard levels throughout the event.
